The SciCom Café is an open community for science communication.
What started in 2024 as a casual meet-up of researchers at Uni Würzburg, has since grown into a platform for peer learning, mutual support, and collaborative projects like the first Science Pub in 2025.

We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 4 – 5 pm at the Uni Würzburg Press Department (Zwinger 32a, 97070 Würzburg, Room 01.001).

We want to explore different format of science communication. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about exploring your own way of communicating science and engaging with the public. You want to do a science pub? Let’s figure out how! You want to do animations, there’s probably someone our network who can help you!
